I can not verify where my Jones family originated. I know that there is an American Indian ancestor. It is believed that my great, great grandmother was Cherokee.

The 1900 Shelby Co, AL census shows Henry's brother, Wyley and his wife, Simantha, b. June 1862 living with him. Wyley & Simantha supposedly had 5 children.

He married (3) Mattie Smith December 1931.
